1. Dishes are dirty
2. Dishes are clean
The person who starts the dishwasher is responsible for flipping the sign to clean, the person who last empties is responsible for flipping it to dirty. Each of our 3 kids have an assigned responsibility: Empty top rack, empty bottom rack, empty the silverware. Their responsibility is always the same and we always know who has not done their job. Works for me!

I am the only one in our house that does dishes. I need more children. Immediately : )!
There are 8 of us that empty the dishwasher. I wonder why I can't find anything?
I made your blueberry syrup this morning and it was a huge hit. Have you ever tried thickening it with corn starch? I might try that next time.
I'm so glad you liked the syrup! My kids love it as well. Though I've never thickened it up with cornstarch, I guess you could. I think some of that depends how much you blend it after it cooks. Mine seemed to always thicken somewhat, but we love to sop our plates after we're done! Let me know what you think after you've tried the cornstarch. :)
I'm sorry I can't help you Rebeckah and Sandy, though I'm so glad you stopped by. The laundry room is our adventure in the jungle for us. It seems to always be overflowing with dirty clothes! I need some fairy dust to sprinkle over it!
