Works For Me Wednesday: Make shift changing table

Most of you know that I keep a little girl in my home 5 days a week.  Since it has been 9 years since we've had need for a changing table and crib,
but we don't have room for all the equipment.
we've compromised and it seems to be pretty fair.

Our changing table is the couch by day.
We simply lay down a beach towel
to protect from unexpected messes and leaks.
A small basket holds
baby powder
plastic bags for dirty smelly diapers
and fun smelling lotion.
Our baby wipes are to the left
of her diaper bag they bring daily
(holding any medicine, clothes, diapers, etc)
and usually we have a small book close by amuse her.

Great idea! I used to keep my nephew when he was an infant and mine were no longer in diapers. Wish I had thought to do something like that! Thanks for stopping by The Homeschool Desk and leaving me a comment. :) It's so nice to meet another homeschooler, and you're from Arkansas! We just moved back to NJ after living in AR for 3 yrs, my husband is an AR native. We would love to go back, we miss it terribly. I'm now following your blog. I have a family blog where I blogged about living in AR, as I'm from NJ, it proved to be a very interesting time for me, lol. Here's a link if you'd like to check it out: http://greenacresfamily.blogspot.com So nice to meet you, I look forward to reading more of your posts! ~ Jodi
