We have finally made it to Little Rock for Youngest's cardiology check. I can't believe it has been 2 years since his last visit and almost 12 years since his arrival and open heart surgery.
Last visit, we had an outstanding checkup and he was able to actually meet several of his nurses and see where he was cared for before and after his surgery. We hope to do that again.
I used to have small panic attacks when we approached the hospital, the first few years following his surgery. It has been years since that has happened and now I approach with gladness.
I look forward, with anticipation, to seeing how his repair for Transposition of the Great Arteries has held up and visit with Dr. Frazier, his cardiologist. Time seemed to passed quickly, but we never want to forget how he started, the hundreds of prayers on his behalf, and the awesome healing hand of God!
One thing about being here- there is always someone worse off than you that needs prayer and healing. So thankful for the dedicated staff of nurses, doctors and surgeons!
Will try to post an update later - maybe with some pictures.
Love,
Lynnet
