Gifts of Grace

With a full week and a growing "Do-List", I should not have been surprised when God gave me the following:

Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful.  John 14:27

Also we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to His purpose who works all things after the counsel of His will,    Ephesians 1:11

We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ,

2 Corinthians 10:5

 Deep Sigh...

  7. Homemade chocolate cake with homemade whipped filling
  8. laughter at the dinner table
  9. Dandelions - sign of Spring and fun for little ones
  10. Dimpled grins

I wrote a comment and then lost it!! Sorry for the "vomit" ...that is a mom's life. I do love the picture you included and the verses you shared brightened the overcast day after a night of hail storms (and children joining us in between the "comforters"). Hope you have a day of great joy in Jesus!

Love your list, Lynnet. Was your "deep sigh" one one relief or exhaustion?

Praying for you today . . . for some surprises to lighten you to do list.

fondly,
Glenda

Wow on the last one! Hats off to you. And great verse.

And on the detergent, someone gave me a sample of Crunchy Clean detergent. I would like to make my own some time though. Do you have a recipe?

I’m here today from Ann’s Multitude Monday link.

First of all – welcome to the community of counters. I’ve found the counting of the blessings to be a blessing of its own. And the reading of the list – love that! And “my peace I leave you” I heart that verse!!!!

Of your thank you’s this week the one that is my favorite is: Dandelions - sign of Spring and fun for little ones (because although I appreciate the last one – I really couldn’t make that one the favorite – I’ll settle for the scourge of lawns – but those puffballs are ingenious – and the flowers are pretty – and you have to give them credit for deep roots!!) (◠‿◠) My heart is glad I stopped by to read this.

God bless you and keep you – and all of yours.
